Door-to-door “free inspection” deposit requests
VERIFIEDTeams are knocking on doors claiming a government-mandated inspection and asking for cash/e-transfer deposits. No government agency is mandating door-to-door heat pump inspections. Do not pay at the door; verify the business in the directory and request a written quote with permits.
