About Heat Pumps Nova Scotia

Who runs the site

Heat Pumps Nova Scotia is an independent directory and information service. Contact hello@heatpumpsnovascotia.ca for business, billing, and privacy enquiries.

We combine public-source research and listing review to help homeowners compare options. We sell directory placement and business verification reviews. We do not sell homeowner leads, arrange installations, or earn contractor referral commissions.

The site is not a government agency, program administrator, manufacturer, or contractor. Official program pages and regulators remain the authoritative source when rules or requirements change.

Editorial standards

We prioritize official and primary sources, then explain practical decisions in plain language. When program rules change, the official source takes priority over any summary on this site.

Rebate and safety guides are reviewed regularly and include source links so readers can verify details directly.

Directory methodology

The directory defaults to Google rating, then review count and business name. Paid placement affects order when visitors select Featured first; Sponsored labels identify paid listings. Payment does not buy an editorial recommendation.

We may remove or de-prioritize listings that violate platform policies or fail verification requirements.

Revenue and disclosures

The site may earn revenue from installer subscriptions and limited advertising on selected blog pages. Advertising does not determine article conclusions.

Corrections policy

If you spot an error, send a correction request to hello@heatpumpsnovascotia.ca. We review credible correction requests and update material issues promptly.
